Officially registered

Your organization needs to provide proof of existence by submitting a certificate of registration with the appropriate government authorities. If your organization is a public institution, other official documentation may be provided.

Non-profit

To be eligible, your organization must be an NGO or other civil society organization, a government or other public institution, a United Nations agency or other intergovernmental institution. Civil society organizations need to provide documentation on their non-profit status.

Active in the field of sustainable human development

Your organization must have programmes and/or projects that clearly benefit developing countries and contribute to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Non-discriminatory and in compliance with the Charter and policies of the United Nations

Your organization must respect and support the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and have a mission statement that reflects these principles.
