Help moderate online consultation on youth migration

TASK

Online Volunteers are needed to help YPWC and its partner organizations to moderate a Youth Online Consultation on at http://groups.tigweb.org/migration

Moderators will help in the writing of background papers, developing more youth-friendly questions that are inline with the Global Forum on International Migration and Development (GFMD) themes and questions of discussions. See: http://www.gfmd2009.org

The consultation is expected to start from 20th September to 30th October 2009. Moderators will moderate weekly discussions.

YPWC will provide OV's with technical support.Online Volunteers will work under the direction of the Project Coordinator.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

OBJECTIVE

This consultation is meant to get a Youth Statement or Communiqué on important themes that will be discussed at the 3rd Global Forum on International Migration and Development to be held in November 2009.

REQUIREMENTS

Volunteers who have some experience on facets of International Migration and Development including Migration and the Millennium Development Goals are encouraged to apply.
