Requirements
AMRAN is seeking the assistance of a volunteer who has experience in managing and leading an NGO to carry out the following tasks: 1. Assess current organization capacity & prepare a fact finding report to improve organization performance 2. Based on assessment report, prepare scope baseline and assist AMRAN to prepare business case (SoW) 3. Review scope baselines against the performance 4. Provide short term consultancy to improve overall performance of organizationThe tasks require virtual collaboration with our organization program manager. Communication is possible through email, skype etc. We are flexible with timings and will be agreed with mutually.
AMRAN NGO is a registered non government, non-profit organization. It has implemented projects funded by GIZ, USAID, and UN Agencies. AMRAN NGO strategic plan is under review and is going to be updated in the near future. Recently, AMRAN NGO is engaged in training and development, humanitarian and health services. The volunteer is required to provide consultation in achieving better organization performance and better meet internal / external organization requirements.
Volunteer preferably shall have the following qualifications/skills and experience. 1. Have experience working in senior management position for more than 5 years. 2. Capable to provide consultation to achieve the strategic goals. 3. Is action oriented, entrepreneurial and have innovative approaches to business planning. 4. Unwavering commitment to improve the service quality of NGO.

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
