Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
*Motivate and facilitate sponsors and development partners to maximize funds for our event through a well composed and standard proposals. *Develop new and imaginative proposals which should directed to high net worth individuals and cooperate organizations,donor NGOs with a view to raising funds to cater for our project focus. *Writing a standard proposals to Ministries, Departments and Agencies,MDAs of the Governments cut across Africa Nations *Manage and update databases to record donor contacts and preference information aimed at writing a brilliant and acceptable proposals *Write proposals and mail-shots, using direct mailing to reach a range of potential donors *Research donor organizations and funding opportunities to enable us send proposal to the right targets. *Edit proposals before sending them out to the prospective donors,sponsors and funders.

The African Textile Exhibition,Trade & Fashion Show is a platform where all Textile Manufacturers on the continent of Africa assemble to show case different African fabrics ranging from Aso, Oke,Adire & Ofi from Nigeria,Kente from Ghana,Bogolanfini from Mali,Shoowa textile from Zaire and general Ankara textile materials,etc so as to promote the superiority of our locally manufactured fabrics aimed at driving the UN SDGs 9 & 12. OBJECTIVES: *Revamp and revive distressed Textile/Garment Industry sector of the African economy. *Means of creating a revenue generation for governments of various African countries as a result of taxation and paid wages earned from the activities associated with the production of these fabrics/textiles and RMG (ready-made garments). *Showcasing our rich African fabrics to the world *Raise the penchant by African of our locally manufacture fabrics *Interact among players and stakeholders in the global fabric and textile industry. *Promote economic ties among participating African States. *Assemble a world focus on Africa. *Expand the African Textile market *Bridge the gap between the manufacturers and the consumers of the fabric
Volunteers: 3 needed
1-5 hours per week / 4 weeks
The position is relevant to all level of educations with high level background in fundraising. A qualification or experience in marketing, media or business may also be helpful. However, development partners are our major target.
