Background and objectives
Agoro Community Development association is looking for the support of an online volunteer to help develop is new organization strategy. This task include but not limited to; (1) the determination of long term goals (i.e., mission, vision and values) and objectives, and (2) the identification of the scope of the activities or programs through which those goals and objectives are to be achieved. The volunteer shall receive a certificate upon completion of the task. We shall be using skype. facebook and other social networking sites for ease of communication

Agoro Community development association is adopting its new strategy for the 2021 – 2026 year. The strategy aim to amongst others; to tackle the barriers that keep young women and girls poor and give them opportunities to lift themselves and their families out of poverty; and the capabilities that need to be prioritized to help the young women and girls make a successful transition to an independent and fulfilled adult life? Because of our footprint across rural and conflict affected region of Northern Uganda; and working with the poorest and most vulnerable communities, we would prefer interventions that prioritized sustainable livelihood approach (SLA) to poverty reduction, which embodies three fundamental attributes: the possession of human capital (such as education, skills, health, and psychological orientation); access to tangible and intangible assets; and the existence of economic activities
