Background and objectives
ASASS non-profit is Burundi-based charity. Its programs are being revised so website ( ) is being updated with a new Wordpress template and new contents: pages, forms, graphic designs, images, and news stories, etc. The selected online volunteer will proofread and edits web site contents for pages,, minimum of 5 pages per week. Volunteers receive via email the written web contents in word format and other necessary information such as links to model graphics and forms of pages to see how a page contents will look look like, contents structure, forms, etc, One of our team leader will communicate with and guide you, share necessary information via email , Google drive, whatsapp and facebook groups, etc. You must have experience in web contents development, editing and proofreading. WordPress Templates adaptation into websites experience is preferred but not mandatory.

ASASS’s goal is to prove website and e-volunteering options are better to enhance Non-profit transparency and accountability in our poor community. We do this by using web to showcase what ASASS-Burundi has been doing, value added to our community by international online volunteer and how we improved citizen engagement and world volunteer participation in non-profit tasks toward better Burundi. Website will be used to share information, sensitize readers, donors, grant-making foundations through sharing news stories, update, reports, newsletter, and photos and inspire news volunteers and members. One of our team will collaborate with you. Your edited and published contents is a great contribution to help us showcase what we do and attract readers or supporters. We can add your name to a published article if you are author or if you edited the story.
Volunteers: 5 needed
1-5 hours per week / 12 weeks
1) Editor of web contents, website development experience is mandatory, 2) Skills in shortening long stories into key sentences for web contents and knowledge of how to publish them in Wordpress Template. 3) Knowldge of English 4) Wordpress Templates adaption into a new website experience is a better, 5) 3 emails exchange per week, 6) Available to communicate via Whatsapp, facebook group, etc.
