Translation and interpretation
L’Osservatorio is a research centre focused on documenting the experience of civilians in conflicts, by presenting their subjective perspectives and assessing the economic and social impact on victims, as well as their resilience. We were created within the Italian National Association for Civilian Victims of Wars (ANVCG), a non-profit organization, founded in 1943. While our office is based in Rome, Italy, we are looking forward to collaborating with Online Volunteers and interns from around the world to assist with the translation of articles that highlight international current events affecting civilian victims and the means to promote and prevent further abuses.
