Requirements
BRD is currently looking for an online volunteer to support BRD in marketing and PR through social media. The task includes: Managing BRD social media platforms. Design and develop content and material for social media, work closely to BRD staff for gathering the update and contents on BRD activities, events, reports, pictures, video clips to be published through social media. Prepare press release and other advocacy contents in the occasion of international days.The volunteer will be working with BRD teams using online communication tools for discussion on the contents for social media and website and marketing the organization in Facebook and twitter, instagram and Linked In pages. The volunteer will be responsible for, content, material development, editing and publishing of the material.
BRD is an Afghan charity organization working in the area of human rights, community development, environmental protection and promotion of good governance and accountability through civil society empowerment in Afghanistan. BRD is planning to improve its marketing and PR through social media and website to raise awareness about the work we do and engage more in media advocacy.
The volunteer should have experience in PR and Marketing, design and development of contents, editing pictures, mclips and other graphics. Experience in managing social media platforms, media monitoring, including uploading and publishing the contents. Strong English skills and written communication. Please upload your CV in English.

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
