Background and objectives
CAMAAY is in the process of developing a collection strategy for plastic waste with a focus on urban and rural plastic waste management and job creation for the vulnerable populations. The volunteers will help in designing an echo collection Bin that will be placed in public places, schools, hospitals and other strategic places in some major cities. Volunteers will work in teams, to come up with their designs. The program falls under the UN development goals 3,4,5,6,8,9,10. Volunteers will not be asked to contact potential partners on our behalf

The mission of CAMAAY is to help vulnerable or marginalized young people achieve their full potential, regardless of sex, background, religion, color, or mental or physical disability, and to harness that energy to create healthy, prosperous, independent, and sustainable communities. Our goals for Cameroon are food security, economic independence, a sustainable environment, and human dignity for all. CAMAAY is a fledgling organization with a lot of passion and project ideas. To progress their projects, they will need the help of volunteers.
Volunteers: 10 needed
1-5 hours per week / 4 weeks
Must have some skills and experiences in design. Should have good experience in design activities. Last but not least, volunteers should be creative, motivated and thinker outside the box and willing to achieve real impacts on the life of vulnerable people through participating in this assignment
