Over the years, CFCF has been working to promote peace in and through schools in Imo State, Nigeria. Young people are important and vital participants in creating better future. Thus we must capacitate them to become peace lovers and builders as members of the wide human race by building a culture of peace. The goal of this project is to encourage students to take responsibility for the profound impact, both negative and positive of their actions and decisions. We aim to empower teachers and pupils with skills and knowledge of peace and conflict resolution so that they can resolve their own conflicts amicably at school, homes and in the community. And this will be achieved through the peace education and establishment of peace clubs in the targeted schools.
