Background and objectives
CAEPA is looking for a team of online volunteers with experience in grant proposal writing on advocacy for our women’s rights and gender equality program. This will enable us to apply for funds to improve sexual health of young people and girls, including through comprehensive sexuality education and ending child, early and forced marriage and menstrual hygiene management , gender-based violence, sexual violence and female genital mutilation and increasing access to comprehensive reproductive health services for socially and economically marginalised and vulnerable people. Online volunteers will identify potential donors and calls to develop grant proposals. CAEPA will provide the project developed to adapt to each donor requirements and format. Online volunteers won't be asked to submit fundraising requests or to engage in direct negotiations with donors.
Development programme/project administration
CAEPA Cameroon was founded by a group of women seeking to improve their agricultural production systems by making them environmentally sustainable. As our organization developed, so too did our theory of change. First, to include the relationship between natural resource rights, climate and environmental justice, and then between land degradation, poverty, gender inequality and VAW. Within our programs and strategic plan. Vision: Vulnerable and marginalized women and girls have equal access to resources for sustainable development within a supportive environment that upholds their dignity and well-being in North-West and South-West Cameroon. Mission: Facilitate access to natural resources, facilities and information for vulnerable and marginalized women and girls to enable them to achieve better quality of living in North-West and South-West Cameroon
Volunteers: 2 needed
6-10 hours per week / 24 weeks
Interested volunteer must have excellent grant proposal writing skills, but also research and analysis skills, as online volunteers will have to express complex ideas in a simple language. Experience with proposal writing, or even with a particular donor can be considered advantages.
