Background and objectives
Requirements
Are you an experienced and professional Grant writer? CAEPA is looking for a team of people with experience in writing winning proposals for our women’s rights and gender equality program to help us win grants for women and girls sexual and reproductive healths and rights and violence against women themes. Our organization will be responsible for submitting finished proposals to donor organizations. Volunteers will work with CAEPA Director who will provide them with country and organisational strategies and policies. Communicate regularly through emails and whatsapp.

Overall Goal: Contribute in enhancing the welfare/wellbeing of vulnerable and marginalized women and girls in communities in the North West and South West Regions by empowering them economically, socially and politically. Specific objectives 1) By 2020 gender based inequalities i.e. (domestic violence, challenges of Sexual and reproductive rights SRR, participation in decision) are reduced by 40% in 25 target communities (villages) in the North West and South West Regions via initiatives that promote economic, social and political employment for vulnerable and marginalized women. 2) By 2020, the income of at least 1000 vulnerable and marginalized women is increased through the adoption of improved agricultural production and marketing techniques.
Volunteers: 2 needed
6-10 hours per week / 24 weeks
Interested volunteer must have: 1. Good knowledge of feminism 2. At least 7 years working experience in an NGO specifically on grant writing 3. Should be able to commit at least 10 hours a week (Mandatory) 5. Duration minimum – 6months 6. Must be a graduate - Master or above 7. Whatsapp ID also is needed 8. Be a team player
