Background and objectives
Requirements
The online volunteer will receive the Portuguese text in .doc format to translate to English. The content has about 8,000 words. The deadline for the task is 21 days. The online volunteer will receive the text to be translated through e-mail and will submit their work by e-mail as well. A GNova staff member will be available to answer questions. The volunteer will receive due credit for their contribution on the website.

The website currently is available only in Brazilian Portuguese. Translating the contents of the website the online volunteer will have the opportunity to help GNova, the Innovation Lab of the Brazilian Federal Government, to reach a broader public and share its story of how it was born in August 2016 to create a space for the development of solutions with less bureaucracy and more efficiency for public services in Brazil.

20+ hours per week / 3 weeks
The online volunteer needs to be an English native speaker and has excellent knowledge of the written English language and experience with English/Portuguese translations. It is also desired that the volunteer be familiar with the technical-scientific terms in the field of innovation. Please submit your application in Portuguese with your resume evidencing your previous experiences with English/Portuguese translations.
