Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
At eVidyaloka, we are imparting quality and enriching learning experience to the kids of various rural villages in India. We seek for passionate online volunteers who can help create content for students of Rural Govt. Schools. The study materials are prepared in 6 regional languages (Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu) for the subjects of Science & Mathematics for the Grades 5th and 6th. The online volunteers need to be fluent (read/write/speak) in any of the above 6 Indian languages. The study material includes Lesson plans and Worksheets. A minimum of 3 Lesson plans and 8 worksheets is expected from an Online Volunteer.

eVidyaloka is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on transforming the educational landscape of rural India. Registered under the Trusts Act, the organization creates digital classrooms for children in remote villages, with the support of local communities and volunteer-teachers from across the globe. With standardized lesson plans and teaching aids for a consistent learning experience, the children from government schools receive e-quality education for a promising & rewarding future. Through this task the Online Volunteers help the Volunteer Teachers to conduct their online classes in a more efficient way.
Volunteers: 25 needed
6-10 hours per week / 12 weeks
- Able to Read, Write and Speak any of the given Indian languages (Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu).. - Access to a Desktop/Laptop with high speed Internet - Eager to include passion and commitment to the cause of quality education. - Use online teaching resources, including digitized textbooks and other such material that is provided by eVidyaloka. - Minimum commitment of 3-4 months
