The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development offers a vision for food and agriculture as key to sustainable development. FAO’s experience and expertise in supporting policymaking, building partnerships and projects as well as designing 3-dimensional sustainability programmes aim to contribute to the eradication of both poverty and hunger (SDG 1 and 2). We believe that promoting and communicating about our actions make them more impactful while it creates a connection between civil society and our organization. Increasing our actions’ visibility and gaining civil society’s support constitute an important tool to reach a truly sustainable development.
