Background and objectives
Goodness and Mercy Missions wants to help rural farmers increase food production in Cameroon. The organization is looking for volunteers who will help draft a funding proposal whereby it can be used to raise funds and assist rural farmers increase food production. Information will be provided to the volunteers for the drafting of such a proposal. This information is related to the nature of farming the people want to do and the nature of proposal to be drawn. Volunteers will also research and suggest innovative ways in which the farmers can bring innovation to their farms and increase food production. Volunteers will work individually or as a team. Communication will be through email, skype and any other relevant media. The main language is English even though French is also permitted. GMM will furnish the volunteer with all the needed information to carry on the tasks.

Goodness and Mercy Missions helps the rural poor in Cameroon with tools and means for a sustainable livelihood. The majority of people living in rural areas do subsistence agriculture. The rise of the crisis in the English speaking areas have scattered many people from their areas and brought them to new area, centering population, and then a need for an increase in food production. It is farmers in these areas Goodness and Mercy Missions targets. Increasing food production will enable the food supply to meet the needs of the surging population. It will also help the farmers to improve on their living standards and boost the economy of their localities.
Volunteers: 9 needed
1-5 hours per week / 12 weeks
