Background and objectives
The task of the volunteer is to put together the already written teaching material in a form of a booklet for our Fair Champions Project that we will distribute among school teachers. The booklet consists of various activities, links to videos, discussion questions and working sheets. The core of the document (without photos and designated worksheets) has around 20 pages and is written in German. The task of the volunteer is to design a unified layout with illustrations, fact boxes and work sheets so that our booklet would have a unique, recognizable, pleasing to the eye built-up.
Art and design
Web and graphic design
Our Global Education Project, Fair Champions was accomplished for the 5th consecutive year in 2018. This time we visited 4 schools, interacted during our workshops with students from primary school and trained 105 "Fair Champions" in the topic of Fair Trade Clothing. With our booklet full of activities and teaching material we would like to provide all interested teachers to continue/begin the education of Fair Champions who will be familiarized with the concept of fast fashion, unfair salary, worsening environmental and working conditions and child labor. Their awareness is thus raised to act towards fair fashion, fair payment, abolition of child labor and improved working conditions.
