Background and objectives
Hope Foundation is looking for a volunteer who can translate the text for our new website. The task shall be translation from German to English of about 17 pages of text. Hope foundation has all the material ready to orientate volunteers in their work. We intend to maintain communication with a respective volunteer via Emails or Skype. A clear description of the tasks shall be initially given. We are looking for someone to start mid December.
Translation and interpretation
The Hope Foundation runs a number of social, educational and health projects. The volunteer will be required to work on the new website, displaying all of the organisation's projects. The Hope Foundation is looking to present its projects to the public in a dynamic way and to attract future volunteers to work for the organisation. We hope to make more contacts with the new website, reach more potential partners and sponsors and generally inform the public of our work.

11-20 hours per week / 3 weeks
Hope Foundation, as you can see from our main website, is an organisation working in Cameroon and Germany. It is our wish to speak to our diverese readership, donors, and volunteers in their native languages! We are looking for an EXPERIENCED translator who can help us reach our goal of providing all our English speaking readers with access to a high quality translation of our new German web content. Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
