Requirements
Are you a social media expert? Are you tech savvy? HELP Trust is looking for online volunteers with Social Media experience to join our marketing and advertising department. If you are a professional, creative, out of the box thinker who enjoys making a difference in peoples lives, then we want you in the HELP Trust team. Must be hard working, have superior computer proficiency, have good writing skills and be able to work with a dynamic team.Make a different in people’s lives today! Communication will be mainly via Skype and email.
HELP Trust runs several support programs which include providing educational support for children, youth and women. These programs require donations that are both monetary and physical like computers, books, sewing machines, etc. Volunteers will not be requested to submit any funding request on behalf of our organization. The aim of the social media coordination is to promote the vision of HELP Trust and build awareness of our cause. That is by encouraging potential donors while promoting our organization through the many social media channels.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Has Marketing/Advertising background; Creative thinker who can think outside the box; Tech Savvy (knows Computers, Social networking, Online marketing and online communications); Access to Internet 2 hours (daily) for 6 months to 1 year.

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
