Background and objectives
Requirements
Translation from Russian to English of research "Youth development and well-being Index" that was conducted in Kyrgyz Republic. Document volume - 125 pages. Document will be spread among civic society organizations, government agencies, municipalities.The translation is needed ASAP :) The communication will be built through e-mail and skype only. One volunteer will be charge of proofreading and at least two volunteers will share the translation. Online volunteers will be duly credited on the final product.
Institute for youth development is the leading youth organization in Kyrgyz Republic and its initiatives are realized with the government ministries and agencies towards its target group - youth and youth organizations, youth centers. The Youth development and wellbeing index is a big research that was adapted in Kyrgyz Republic and was conducted with the help of experts, government bodies. This document will help to reflect all needs and demands of youth of Kyrgyz Republic.
Knowledge of Russian and English languages - specific terminology, that is used in such kind of documents. Applicants might be asked to translate a short paragraph as part of the selection process.

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
