Background and objectives
We are looking for two bilingual Sinhala/English speaking volunteers to translate eight eLearning modules (4 per volunteer) from English to Sinhala. It would be beneficial if you are familiar with the Sri Lanka legal system and understand legal terminology. Each eLearning module is between 8 and 20 slides. The volunteers will be sent the material via email.
Translation and interpretation
The eLearning modules were developed as part of IBJ's program in Sri Lanka, 'Advancing Transitional Justice in Sri Lanka'. The aims of the project are to increase proper use of evidence and investigative techniques in trials, build the capacity of actors working in the justice sector, and strengthen the efficiency of the justice system.
Volunteers: 2 needed
6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks
Volunteers need to be bilingual in English and Sinhala and preferably have some knowledge of legal terminology and concepts.
