Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
Under the direct supervision of the project manager in IOM Niger and in close coordination with the rest of the border management team, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for development of design and graphic in regards to a round table meeting taking place in January in Niamey, Niger. The following are the tasks associated with the position: 1) Effective coordination of activities of work with the Project Manager to deliver activities according to criteria specified, on time and the best interests of IOM 2) To develop the design of the logo, a brochure as well as different items, such as banner, pens, notebooks etc.

This task will support the mission of IOM Niger to ensure quality design complying with IOM and donor standards, in order to enhance visibility of the round table meeting and on all IOM Media, and towards all projects’ beneficiaries. IOM Niger Immigration and Border Management unit is working on many aspects, including the enhancement of national authorities’ capacities to secure and manage its borders, as well as facilitating cross-border movement of persons and goods. Apart from excellent designing skills, the volunteer needs to have a comprehensive approach of IOM Niger requirements for its different layouts. Beyond that, a general understanding of migration concepts is useful but not essential.
Volunteers: 1 needed
1-5 hours per week / 3 weeks
University degree, preferably in Arts, Design, IT or related field or the equivalence of related experience. Overall good knowledge of IT and excellent skills in Photoshop, Adobe illustrator or other design softwares Please include your CV with examples of some previous designs
