Background and objectives
Requirements
IOM is looking for online volunteers to check and correct errors on the report “Investigating evolving profiles, intentions, experiences and vulnerabilities of people on the move on Central Mediterranean and Western Mediterranean Routes in 2018”. This is to ensure full consistency with IOM terminology related to migration and its thematic aspects, in compliance with IOM’s Glossary (https://www.iom.int/glossary-migration-2019). The aim is to have full consistency with IOM editorial guidelines in order to have clarity and continuity of the argument(s); clearness of structure and core themes; internal consistency, both analytical and stylistic.

Translation and interpretation
To provide support to IOM's Regional Office for MENA in ensuring the overall quality of the final product/report on migration before its publication and circulation to donor governments.
Volunteers: 3 needed
6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks
Interested volunteers should have experience with writing and editing reports. With some background or familiarity with international organisations or UN. Extensive experience editing, proofreading, and evaluating good grammar. Detail oriented with the ability and commitment to meet deadlines.
