Background and objectives
Requirements
The online volunteer will be required to: Draft convincing concept papers and funding proposals for our organization. Research potential donors and foundations for KAMANEH MNCH DISPENSARY project; Research for international crowfunding platforms for KAMANEH MNCH Dispensary Project; Advice other ways of fundraising for the project. Volunteers will not be requested to submit any funding themselves not any funding request on behalf of our organization. Any online volunteers that will be interested to apply for the task must be accessible by email on a regular basis in addition to Skype calls/charts. Any considered volunteer shall be able to submit updates weekly to the Director. We are looking for serious, committed, mature and experienced volunteers from any part of the world with skills in proposal designing/editing and fundraising skills. The project will aim to set up at least 21 MNCH health dispensaries in Kenya by end of 2021.

The online volunteer should know that KAMANEH’s Mission is to save and improve the lives of pregnant women, mothers, infants, children and adolescents in urban slums and remote communities in Kenya. KAMANEH's proposed project fits within our contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 5, 6, respectively. i). To contributes to the reduction of maternal and newborn morbidity and mortality towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ii). Contribute to improve the living environment for unprivileged women, newborns and children in the target communities by increasing the general awareness and skills of waste management, improving rubbish collection system and promoting water-based diseases protection, thus ultimately achieving to increasing the health status of pregnant women, newborns and children.
Volunteers: 20 needed
20+ hours per week / 52 weeks
The online volunteer is expected to have a bachelor degree in Business Administration, or Bachelor of Science in Public health with skills and knowledge in proposal writing, Primary health care services, and researching of potential donors for health projects.
