Background and objectives
The online volunteers will be required to: - Write a convincing concept paper and a funding proposal for our organization. - Advice other ways of fundraising for KAMANEH's projects that contribute to United nations Sustainable Development Goals 3-Health for all; 5 Gender equality and 6. Access to water and sanitation. Each online volunteers can pick the topic of their interest /experience from: a) Sexual and Reproductive health and rights of women and girls; b)Maternal and child nutrition; c)water and sanitation. Volunteers will not be requested to submit any funding themselves not any funding request on behalf of our organization. Any online volunteers that will be interested to apply for the task must be accessible by email on a regular basis in addition to whats-app and Skype calls. Any considered volunteer shall be able to submit updates weekly to the Director.

The Kenya Association for Maternal & Neonatal Health- KAMANEH is a local founded and not for profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered on 25th September, 1997 under the NGOs Coordination Act. KAMANEH’s mandate is to identify, address, and prevent complications that arise during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, and thus ultimately decreasing maternal, infant and child mortality rates in Kenya. We provide affordable maternal, neonatal and child health care services and community-based Sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy.
Volunteers: 3 needed
11-20 hours per week / 12 weeks
We are looking for serious, committed, mature and experienced online volunteers. Individuals with a bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English or a related field are desired with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in writing funding proposals in health, water, sanitation and gender/sexual reproductive health sectors. In addition, a diploma or certificate in health courses, especially maternal and child health will be an added advantage.
