Requirements
1) Identify and research available and applicable grants to KIND’s programming 2) Research, retrieve and assemble background material for grant proposals 3) Data entry on potential funding organizations and creation of timelines for grant proposals for 2018-2019 4) Identify and research collaborative grant opportunities of $400,000 or more. 5) Communicate effectively to the Marketing Officer when a grant is located and disseminate the information quicklyWhile the focus of this online volunteering assignment is research, however, the incumbent will be required to provide to keep in contact with the Marketing officer and provide weekly status via email and Skype. As per this site's Terms of Use, volunteers will not be requested to submit any funding themselves nor to submit any funding request on behalf of our organization.

A grant researcher will assist in exploring and identifying non-traditional donor with available funding that fits the context of our vision and goals.

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
