Background and objectives
Recognizing people for their contributions to society inspires and motivates them to continue. It also motivates others to contribute to helping humanity in their own way. As such, Love and Care for People is seeking a volunteer with experience in content writing, journalism, radio broadcasting or mass communication to help develop content for a digital awards website. This site aims to recognize the contributions of African women globally to the development of the African continent and people. The awards will be an online award.

There are people unknown and unappreciated who contribute to putting smiles on the faces of people who experience challenges, poverty, abuse or who have given up hope in life. Our aim with this project is to recognize them and share positive stories about them. Love and Care for People is an independent organisation where loving and caring individuals or as we say “our family” all work together to bring hope, financial stability, raise awareness, advocate and educate about family violence with a purpose to reduce and prevent it

Our online volunteer community is made up of bright, dynamic, committed individuals who enjoy bringing out the best in each other and in the organizations they serve. We expect all volunteers to maintain high standards of behaviour, and to refrain from any activity that could be detrimental to the assignment, the organization, other volunteers, or to UNV. By registering you accept that you do not make any financial claims to organizations or to UNV. See the Terms of Use for more about standards of conduct and the conditions for using this platform.
