Background and objectives
You will translate a project proposal addressed to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for a Project in Colombia in the area of (Re)Integration of indigenous migrants in La Guajira and Dibulla in Colombia. The translation is from German to Spanish and includes a project description, context analysis, description of planned activities (26 pages in total). Ideally, you have some prior knowledge in the sectors of migration and indigenous people and some experience in translating project proposals. The translation should be finished and handed in to Malteser International until the 20. January 2019. For security purposes, those wishing to translate the document need to sign the Malteser International Code of Conduct, which we will forward to you once an agreement, is reached. Those interested in the task may forward us their CV and a short paragraph on their experiences. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

11-20 hours per week / 2 weeks
Sound knowledge in Spanish and German (native level speaker an advantage); Excellent writing and spelling skills; Experience in translation of project proposals for the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ); Good knowledge of the context of indigenous and Afro-Colombian culture would be an asset.
