Background and objectives
Requirements
The Foundation is seeking the service of an innovative Online Volunteer who can provide advice in developing a simple micro hydro power using motors, turbines and waste materials that are readily available. The Online Volunteer will help in proposing ideas on how to built the micro hydro power duing the course of this collaboration.

The Foundation is eager to utilze the services of an innovative Online Volunteer to assist in providing advice to built this simple micro hydro set up which is portable using waste materials that can be sourced easily. The set up will help generate electricity to supply electricity to one or two homes in a rural community setting.
Volunteers: 2 needed
11-20 hours per week / 2 weeks
Candidates must have a fair knowledge in power generation using water to generate electricity. The candidates must be willing to do additional research and must have fair knowledge in electrical and micro hydro power engineering for community development for rural communities.
