Background and objectives
We are looking for one or two team members with analytical skillset and experience in the area of fundraising or financial modelling who can join and help with translating the organizational objectives for the next 3 years into financial KPIs as part of the organizational fundraising strategy. The volunteer/s will have the opportunity to learn about non-profit financial sustainability and become acquainted with the fundraising landscape in Africa. He/she will be part of a team and participate in weekly/biweekly virtual meetings through Skype and WhatsApp, with follow-up email briefings. We use Trello application app as our project management tool. There is an opportunity for interaction, as well as creative input and idea exchange.

The process of fundraising strategy development is a fundamental building block for securing the resources needed for the organizational sustainable financial growth for the next 3 years. This is a long-term program, so experience with financial modelling is not mandatory but preferred. The organization’s mission to leverage technology in advance education in Africa is fully depended on the number of resources the organization can mobilize.
Volunteers: 4 needed
1-5 hours per week / 4 weeks
The volunteer needs to have a basic understanding of the non-profit sector and some type of financial experience. Previous experience in fundraising is desired but not mandatory. Passion for the educational sector is also important.
