Background and objectives
Requirements
Our organization is seeking the support of 25 online volunteers to do remote sensing of 25 river basins in Brazil from the source to the mouth. The volunteer person needs to do remote sensing, collect data (link), move to text file, identifying with the name of the city. The means for collecting information will be through Google Earth and or Google Maps Satellite and collect Riparian Forest Deforestation on both banks of the watershed. When the volunteers completes the collaboration, they will receive a certificate. ESO-A has been posting online volunteering opportunities for over 3 years. And first of all, we thank the online volunteers who donate their time to make the institution's projects real. The volunteers, with their collaborations, made the institution grow more and more. We also thank the online UN volunteers for maintaining the possibility of helping all of us in civil society.

The purpose of this task is to form a report to prove that the riparian forests of most rivers in Brazil have been completely deforested and that continuous improvement measures are taken immediately.

1-5 hours per week / 4 weeks
The volunteer needs to have advanced knowledge of handling of Google Earth or Google Maps. You must have advanced Portuguese.
