Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
Colombia is one of the countries lagging behind in English language teaching in the world, close to countries in Africa and the Middle East. Learning a second language is the gateway to more opportunities in life. We want Colombian children from vulnerable communities to have access to learning English. Therefore, we want to develop a methodology that allows us to teach English through the EducALL platform (https://youtu.be/86WX_iW-4Lk), which uses calls to distribute educational audios. Our goal is to develop the methodology, audio content, guides and tracking metrics.
Teaching and training
Education policy and planning, curriculum development and teacher training
We have a dream: that all human beings have the legacy of humanity at their fingertips to reach their full potential. To do this we transform a basic cell phone into an audio playback device, like having Spotify, voice assistant and artificial intelligence with it we bring education to every corner of the world where you can make a simple call, a #CallToEducate.https://jcibogota.org/proyectos/educall-jci-bogota/ EducALL turns a landline or basic cell phone into an audio playback device and voice assistant that allows you to create interactive, personalized, on-demand radio. This allows us to distribute audio content in any region of the world with access to 2G or higher telephony networks. We want to implement and validate a methodology that allows us to teach English in the most vulnerable communities in Latin America, can you help us?
