Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
The volunteer will have to work together with ADES team. First, he or she will have to find an NGO or entity who finance local development projects in Latin America. After having the ideas of who could be the potential cooperator, ADES will schedule an skype meeting where they will brainstorm an idea for a local development project along with the volunteer based on ADES and the international cooperator interests. Then, the volunteer will have to write a grant proposal based on the agreed project. The volunteer will deliver the first draft to ADES team at least two weeks before the cooperator deadline. Finally, ADES will evaluate the draft and make the corrections in order to sent it to the cooperator.

Fundación ADES is a non-profit organization that works for social walfare in Ecuador. Fundación ADES provides services for children, people with disabilities and elderly people in vulnerable contexts. Currently, ADES is searching for new forms of financing that could help to achieve its mission of local development. The volunteer will help to think which international cooperators are interested in financing projects in Ecuador and therefore, will contribute to the sustainability of our organization.
Volunteers: 6 needed
1-5 hours per week / 5 weeks
The volunteer should have good writing, social sensibility, critical thinking, and be creative. The volunteer should have experience of working with international cooperation, writing grants proposals, or have worked in local development projects.
