Background and objectives
The document “Country Program Strategy” was developed for the GEF SGP Operational Phase 7. The process of preparation, contact with the program coordination and national stakeholders, review of the previous strategies took 4 month and resulted into a 21 pages document (7.000 words). Therefore, we’re now, looking for a volunteer to review the final version, to proofread and edit the texts.

The “Country Program Strategy - CPS” is a GEF SGP guideline that approaches overall the priorities, strategies, initiatives and national plans for each operational phase. This version is the fourth for the program that starting now the 7th Operational Phase. It resulted from the previous document updating, keeping the national priority landscapes, modifying the local initiatives, indicators, strategic alignment in order to commit with the program global objectives. By having the CPS reviewed and re-edited, we would be able to submit it to the Steering committee for the document validation. Further it would be disclosed to the National Civil Society so the ONG would develop its projects in line with the priorities strategy and initiatives with direct benefits to local communities that lead to the global objectives achievement.
Volunteers: 1 needed
1-5 hours per week / 1 weeks
Candidates should be Portuguese native speakers with previous experience in revision, proofreading and editing.
