Background and objectives
Niños de Guatemala is developing its website We require the support of an Online Volunteer experienced in implementing SEO strategy. The online volunteer is expected to analyse and implement a strategy directly on, to develop a list of ranking and reflection tools, and to build indicators and benchmarks that will be able to collect and measure the results of a process and the outcomes. The online volunteer is expected to be available for 40 weeks. The online volunteer will have the support and guidance of one dedicated focal people at NDG. The volunteer will receive due credit for their support and certification from NDG via for their contribution.

Niños de Guatemala is a Dutch-Guatemalan NGO whose aim is to assist in breaking the cycle of poverty and fostering empowerment in Guatemala by providing education and social services to children from low-income families. In operation since 2006 NDG currently operate two primary schools and a middle school educating 431 children (and growing every year). We aim at amplifying the potential of leads for revenue generation, partnerships and collaborations.

6-10 hours per week / 40 weeks
The ideal online volunteer will be goal oriented, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal skills. Areas of expertise: SEO & SEM Languages: English or Spanish

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
