Organizations need to provide proof of existence by submitting a certificate of registration with the appropriate government authorities. UN organizations and public institutions may provide other official documentation or evidence.
To be eligible, organizations must be an NGO or other civil society organization, a government or other public institution, a United Nations agency or other intergovernmental institution. Civil society organizations need to provide documentation of their non-profit status.
Active in the field of sustainable human development
Organizations must have programmes and/or projects that clearly contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Non-discriminatory and in compliance with the Charter and policies of the United Nations
Organization must respect and support the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and have a mission statement that reflects these principles.
