Background and objectives
This online volunteer assignment is to update website on REQUEST including minor editing and major upgrades. You will need to work within the framework of our current website to add/edit affiliate profile pages, manage the mechanism for ezine distribution and so forth. The Online Volunteer will need to create a mirror site that will allow for doing edits before making them live our main page. All communication is done by email and volunteers will be working with me, the coordinator of RESPECT. RESPECT connects refugees to non-refugees by pen pal letter exchange. Our website is the main face our organization has with the world.

The mission of the Refugee Education Sponsorship Program is to raise awareness of refugee issues amongst students in participating countries, to build bridges between refugee and non-refugee students through pen-pal letter exchange, and to encourage youth to organize refugee-awareness raising events and to raise funds for their partner refugee schools.
Volunteers: 3 needed
6-10 hours per week / 13 weeks
Need to be able to work with html, databases for websites, forms and so forth. Website design expertise also helpful. In your application, please include web links to samples of previous works if/when available.
