Background and objectives
Requirements
We are looking for the support of three online volunteers to develop a sustainable fundraising strategy for the organization, in order to raise the necessary funds to maintain an effective and efficient level of operations for our activities. We are seeking support developing our fundraising strategy, identifying fundraising leads, creating a deal flow board of impact investors, advising on the pitch deck, executive summary and advising on communications with current impact investors. The volunteers won’t be asked to contact potential donors personally contacts on behalf of our organization nor to ask for funds.

Our goal is to raise impact funds from corporates and individuals to sponsor our activities and programs for 2020-2021. Our main thematic focuses for these years are health education, income generation education and activities for undeserved ageing and internally displaced ageing persons. Having experience in these fields is an advantage, but having a passion towards ageing issues is a must! Our aim is to raise funds to sponsor income generating activities for elderly undeserving persons.
Volunteers: 3 needed
6-10 hours per week / 8 weeks
Holders of a qualification in fundraising, sales, and /or marketing. Fund raising experts, great events’ organizers, and grant proposal writing experts, with a strong civil society or business background are also eligible. Strong communication skills, particularly in ICT would be a plus. English is the preferred language but French and Spanish skills are also welcome.
