Background and objectives
RUDEC is looking for a team of online volunteers who will who will develop a short training model curriculum on sexual and HIV/AIDS education. The volunteer will research on the topic and come up with a training model that will be used by local staff in the communities where we work. Topics to cover will be Youth and sex and Why HIV/AIDS continued to be a threat to our communities especially in Africa. These models will be useful in schools and community training for maximum 3 days. RUDEC will support volunteers with all necessary support to succeed in the task through online collaboration by email. The organization will appoint one of them as coordinator for the task who will divide the work and so that all parts are covered. It should be summarized for English speakers to understand.

RUDEC is working with orphans, single mothers and communities in the rural areas. This model will be to help us educate more youth about sex education and the spread of diseases like HIV/AIDS.
Volunteers: 4 needed
6-10 hours per week / 48 weeks

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
