Requirements
The volunteer will develop a competitive research proposal to assess the impact of Covid19 on harmful practices ( teenage pregnancies and child marriages) and implications for adolescent girls in Kasese, Uganda.

Public information and reporting
The COVID-19 measures have led to closure of schools and send most of the adolescent girls to stay home, statistics from the Kasese health centres showed many women below 18 years seeking for the 1st antenatal services which is a strong evidence of gender based violation and resultant child marriages. We are interested in understanding the impact of this pandemic on the harmful practices ( teenage pregancy, child marriages, and female genital mutilation) and implications to young girls in Kasese, Uganda.
Volunteers: 1 needed
11-20 hours per week / 2 weeks
A well experienced volunteer with special skills in writing highly competitive research proposals, preferably, a PhD hold or Masters with 10 years experience. Should be ready to start immediately if selected for interview, and self-driven.
