Background and objectives
Requirements
We seek support for our organization’s Market Research Projects. The overall objective is to support Market Research projects while actively working with the Research & Engineering group. We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who will conduct market analysis and qualitative & quantitative research for the STW™ Water Research Analytical Laboratory for the laboratory's market area and as separate projects Animal Waste Treatment for the U.S., and Water Treatment technologies for specific Countries. The Volunteer will help to identify business opportunities, perform market analysis, and propose actionable strategies based on the insights. The volunteer will be support creating the market research report and present the same to the related departments. The volunteer will attend meetings with other volunteers on the team in the EST time zone using Google. Volunteers mostly communicate through emails and are expected to respond to emails.

Save the Water™ is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct scientific water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. Our vision is "Contamination free, healthy water for all". We seek an experienced volunteer to support our market analysis project using applicable data collection methods and analytical frameworks/toolset. The role requires experience with qualitative/quantitative research and experience developing proposals and articulating your findings. The Market research project is focused to study the market and conduct analysis to gain relevant insights for our Research and Engineering group and help further the vision of a water research laboratory for STW™.
Volunteers: 1 needed
6-10 hours per week / 24 weeks
Must be willing to attend virtual meetings in EST Timezone and be responsive to emails within 36 hours. 2-5 years of experience in Market Research and analysis in a profit or nonprofit environment. Bachelor’s degree completed in a relevant field or subsequent experience is preferred. Good analytical skills, knowledge of analytical frameworks, Strong attention to detail with great interpersonal and communication skills (written/verbal). Candidates resident in North America and Canada preferred.
