Background and objectives
Teach A Man To Fish has developed a new online course for nonprofits. This will take organisations through a 3-step income generation programme to help nonprofits: generate and test ideas for new income streams, plan a social business and prepare to launch, and get their social enterprise off the ground. We need a dedicated individual with a good understanding of the nonprofit sector and of marketing strategies to support us in generating interest for this course and reaching out to a wider audience. This is a remote opportunity. The ideal candidate would be able to volunteer between 6-10 hours per week. Responsibilities: Creating a marketing strategy for a new online programme to be delivered across multiple digital platforms.

Marketing and advertising
Teach A Man To Fish is an international educational charity with one all-encompassing mission: to empower young people with the skills they need to succeed in school, work and life. We use our school-business model to guide young people and their teachers in the planning and setting up of a student-led school business that is both educational and profitable. Since 2006, we have supported 370,000 young people and trained 5,500 teachers through our programmes. Alongside this, we have 15 years of experience in training and consultancy, assisting various organisations in setting up businesses and securing sustainable income streams for their activities. Your support as a Marketing and Communications volunteer will help us reach out small non-profits around the world that are interested in working towards their financial sustainability, reducing their heavy reliance on external donor funding.
