Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
The assignment is to create a homepage for our organization. Other than having important information about the organization, the website will mainly serve as a news website with a constant feed of its program activities. This assignment will be shared among other 2 online volunteers with the help of our staff in provision of the information needed in the site development.
Technology development
IT architecture and IT project management
We strive to facilitate social transformation, development, and empowerment. The organization is committed to educate the rural and urban youth by involving them in social impact projects. Through social media and the Internet in general, and through our homepage in particular, we want to increase management awareness of social sustainable development issues and youth building. This project aims to expand our news updates through our website to develop a constant news feed of social empowerment and community building through our work. We also inform our audience with objectivity and professionalism through our broadcasts, updating them of the latest news in decision-making within the fields of gender equality and diversity.
Volunteers: 3 needed
11-20 hours per week / 8 weeks
We need an online volunteer with experience in IT project management. The work is to support requirements for the website; draft a detailed project plan that includes the most appropriate software solutions; elaborate tasks and work together to other online volunteer programmer. He or she should also have a background in communications, designing and experience in writing for website.
