Requirements
The online volunteer is expected to design a Factsheet for 16 days of activism on the Elimination of Violence against Women, and in promoting Sustainable Development Goal: SDG 10 and SDG 5- Reducing Inequalities and Gender Equality.We will hold a brief Skype call and share our branding guidelines. He/she would be expected to submit three proposals, and finalize one after two rounds of feedback. Support will be provided via Skype and Dropbox. The volunteer will communicate directly with our communications team. UNRCO Trinidad will have the rights to the final product. Online volunteers will receive due credit for their contributions to the design.
The UN system in the Caribbean sub region has developed a regional multi-country sustainable development framework (MSDF). For this purpose the UN in the Caribbean will produce a number of digital products aimed at raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals, the MSDF and other related development issues. The Factsheet will be used to promote the SDGs around 16 days of activism for the elimination of violence against women.

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
