Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
UN ESCAP Thailand is looking for one Online Volunteer to support us by creating browser extensions for our website. The browser extension should when clicked, open the editing version of the page. For example, if the user is on the following page:http://www.mysite.org/page1 or http://mysite.org/page1. When the user clicks on the extension button, the subdomain URL is changed to http://subdomain.mysite.org/page1 The subdomain send to the users should be customizable. Similar to the following: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/open-in-incognito/peacnpgnojjk... But instead of opening the same site in incognito mode, it should open in a new tab and replace the subdomain. Additional nice to have features: 1 ) Detects if the user has already been authenticated in the Drupal CMS and if not, directs user to the login page 2) after taking user to the subdomain webpage, opening the editing interface for the corresponding page on the Drupal CMS

Web and graphic design
The website is ESCAP's main method of external communication and supports al SDG work done within the organization. The extension that will be developed will hep improve efficiency of website editing staff and speed up their day to day activities.
Volunteers: 1 needed
6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks
Skills in extension development in Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
