UN IDEP, a subsidiary body for UNECA, is a pan-African institution with its primary purpose of accompanying and supporting its member States for their social advancement, economic prosperity and environmental sustainability. IDEP acts as a think tank with the aim of guiding policy change and decision making at the highest level on a number of development challenges. The policy research work undertaken at IDEP complements the Institute’s training programme and responds to the needs of the policy-making communities and other multi-stakeholders. IDEP publications serve to contribute to the nurturing of a research-policy nexus in Africa. To ensure the research papers are written in a concise, clear and good understandable way, IDEP is looking forward to collaborating with online UN volunteers with strong background on Economics, Development and Trade to review research papers.
