Requirements
The UN - Office of Information and Communications Technology is looking forward to modernize the user interface look and feel as well as to improve the user experience of the goTravel web application on desktop platform. The application consists of approx. 45 user interface views with various complexity such as: simple static pages; search query builder component; complex table based screens for visualizing match results of flights and passengers; passenger details view in the form of property-value table; passenger comparison screens; usage reports. We would like the support of an online volunteer to design 5 wireframes for each major UI state and create a style guide for the application. Ideally, the wireframes are provided with grid markup (rulers, alignment directives, offsets, margins, etc.) and with inline/bubble comments to simplify interpretation by the software engineer. The online volunteer will receive a certificate for his/her contribution.

Software and applications development and analysis
The Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) is responsible for defining strategic direction for ICT to the UN Secretariat. It provides oversight of ICT programmes, budgets and decision-making to ensure alignment with the Secretariat’s overall ICT strategy. The goTravel web application owned by OICT enables UN member states to receive passenger data from air carriers, analyze the data for counter terrorism purposes and provide results to law enforcement for action. Improving the UI/UX of this application will help member states to strengthen their counter terrorism efforts.
