Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
UNDP prepared the final donor report summarizing all project activities and results. The report is prepared in English by the national staff and proofreading by the two native English speaker is required. The total number of the Donor report is 50 pages so that individual volunteer is expected to proofread 25 each. The proofreading should be completed by 10 December. The direct supervision will be given by the Project Manager and additional Skype conference will be organized when it is necessary. The detailed requirement will be shared electronically upon the final selection.

UNDP in Azerbaijan has completed the project titled, “Enabling civil society to play a greater role in advancing gender equality and women’s rights” funded by the European Union and UNDP. The overall objective of the project was to increase the role of the civil society in advancing women’s rights and to promote, participation of women in civil society organizations. UNDP in Azerbaijan has prepared the final report to be submitted to the donor. The proofreading by the English native speaker will improve the quality of the report. The language of the report is not complicated and does not include technical terminology.
Volunteers: 2 needed
11-20 hours per week / 1 weeks
Native English speaker; Relative experience in writing and editing of the document at publication level; Knowledge and capacity in translating information into concept framework; working on-call with flexibility, respect to deadlines and in good quality; Provide 2-3 examples of similar products of previous work.
