Translation and interpretation
The Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation was created at a high-level meeting in Busan in 2011 to bring together governments, the private sector, civil society and other development stakeholders to ensure development funding, capacity and knowledge produce maximum impact. The Global Partnership, with its membership of development stakeholders from more than 160 countries, territories and organisations, fosters engagement and knowledge exchange and supports policy dialogue on effective development co-operation among varied actors in the implementation and monitoring of the agreements reached in Busan, South Korea in 2011. UNDP works closely with OECD as the UNDP-OECD Joint Support Team of the Global Partnership (JST) to provide advisory, technical and secretariat support for effective functioning of the Global Partnership. In this context, UNDP's EDC Team seeks to recruit an online volunteer to assist in the translation of the GPEDC document into Russian. The online volunteer's work will help the GPEDC to provide important document - policy brief in Russian to a global audience.
