Background and objectives
The selected online volunteer will; - contribute with creative ideas to reach and engage different private sector audiences - Conceptualizing and creating presentation materials for different media - Finalizing the design and development of the online toolkits and portals as well as design brochures, reports, etc. - Participating in co-design and co-creation of solutions with private sector partners; - Supporting overall partnership with and outreach to companies and foundations The project shall resume by 1 August 2016 through 30 October 2016, with possibility of extension until 31 December 2016. We ask for Skype meetings twice a week on agreed times and daily communications via email. We ask the volunteer to join weekly meeting to provide update and/or to join the rest of the SIU team on relevant discussions. please provide previous work samples. Please be aware the ownership and copyright of the products will remain with UNDP.

The Strategy and Innovation Unit in the Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy is interested in a Graphic Design volunteer to assist the unit’s creative content development and private sector outreach efforts. The volunteer will also contribute widely to developing the private sector toolkit. This opportunity with the Strategy and Innovation Unit of the Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy will support partnerships with the private sector in effort to mobilize resources directly to SDGs.
Volunteers: 1 needed
20+ hours per week / 12 weeks
Education: Graduate degree, Postgraduate degree or certification in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field Experience: •Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign; •Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in graphic design and web design; •Graphic production experience from start to published/printed product with printing processes knowledge (offset/digital) and color management •Proficient in PPT

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
